Is QuataPay actually free?
Wallet-to-wallet transfers between QuataPay users are always free. Fees only apply when money moves to/from mobile money networks, banks, or across borders. The full schedule is at /legal/fees.
How long does cash-out take?
MTN MoMo + Orange Money cash-outs are usually instant. Bank withdrawals settle the next business day.
What if I send money to the wrong person?
If the recipient hasn't cashed out yet, you can reverse the transfer from your transaction history with one tap. Once it's cashed out, contact our support and we'll mediate.
Do I need to be in Cameroon to sign up?
You need a Cameroon phone number for the starter tier. For higher tiers we ask for a NIU (national ID number).
Can I pay someone who doesn't have QuataPay?
Yes — share a payment link or QR and they can pay via MTN MoMo or Orange Money without signing up.
